    Henrik Stenson Captures the 2016 Open Championship!

    Henrik Stenson captured the 2016 Open Championship with a final round of 63 to win by three.

    Stenson began the final round with a one shot lead over his closest pursuant.  Stenson attacked the wind blown Scottish links and made ten birdies in the final round. His final score of 20 under par is an Open Championship record.

    This is Henrik's first major championship and the first Swedish born male major champion.  Stenson's four day total of 264 total is also the lowest total by a major winner in history.

    "I just hit my spots and hit my shots and just stayed in the moment... " said Stenson post round.

    Stenson relied on FJ Icon Traditional MyJoys and a Pure Touch glove en route to his victory.

    Brittany Lang Wins the U.S. Women's Open!

    FJ Staffer, Brittany Lang shot rounds of 68, 75, 68 and 71 to post a regulation score of six under par in the U.S. Women's Open.  The score was matched and she headed to a three hole aggregate playoff. Lang made three straight pars to take home her first major championship at CordeValle Golf Club.   

    This is Brittany's first major victory and second career victory overall.  

    Brittany relied on the comfortable and performance driver FJ emPower golf shoes and the FJ StaSof golf glove en route to the win.

    It's U.S. Open week and time for our FJ Staffers to head down the Pennsylvania Turnpike to make a stop at the hallowed grounds of Oakmont Country Club.  The members of the esteemed club delight in the difficulty of the course, to them the harder it plays the more they like it!  The greens will be slick, the rough penal and the scores high, a perfect recipe for a memorable U.S. Open. 

    To commemorate the event we would like to offer you a chance to win some FJ swag! 

    How do you enter?  Comment on this blog post and pick the FJ player you feel will finish highest on the leaderboard each day of the tournament. 

    If you feel like going with one player all week, feel free; if you feel like diversifying your picks feel free to do that instead!  Winners on Thursday and Friday will receive their choice of FJ FreeStyle Golf Shoes or DryJoys Tour Golf Shoes.   The winners on Saturday and Sunday will be offered the shoes from before plus items from our yet to be released Lexington Collection!

    Daniel Berger Closes Out a Win at the Fedex St. Jude Classic!

    2015 PGA Tour Rookie of the year, Daniel Berger captured his first career PGA Tour victory this week at the Fedex St. Jude Classic.  Berger began the final round with a two stroke lead over his closest pursuant's.  Through his first nine holes Berger managed to maintain his lead. On the closing nine Berger birdied three of his final eight holes to post 13-under par. Three clear of the field. 

    "I was able to grind it out, got some putts to fall, I am thrilled right now" said Berger post round.
