2nd shot into a par 5 at porter valley, hit a 3 hybrid off the flag and made the putt for an eagle. If only golf was this easy more often
My Best shot of the year was driving a 310 yards par 4. Unfortunately I 3 putted the hole.
best Shoes out there
I pounded (for me) a 3 wood from 225 on a par five and went "DRAINO" for an Eagle 3 at Sunset Hills CC on hole #3. No doubt my FootJoy shoes and Footjoy glove played an important role in helping me can this great shot. I appreciate the stability I get at both ends... Hands and Feet. Thanks Footjoy!
Par 3 at Golden Gate Park...110 yards with PW to 2 inches!
My best shot this year was an Eagle I made on a par 4. 86 yard SW. One hop and it jumped in the hole. I could hear the ball hit the stick but couldn't see it as it was a blind shot. Memorable as my son playing with me saw it go in as he pulled down the cart path and had a perfect position to see it. He was more excited then I was to see it go in. :-)
My best shot was a #4 Iron from way too far to about 3ft from the hole. I then tappedin for a rare birb.
Best shot of the year was to finally be able to hit a golf shot after my double hip replacement surgery!
My best shot of the year was a 5 wood from 200 yards on a par 4 in Florida on the 8th hole during my very 1st round of the year. Hit it very high and didn't see it very well...got up to the green and didn't see a ball from any of the foursome. Looked over the green-still no ball. Finally looked in the hole for the *** of it, and lo and behold there was my Pro-V 4 in the cup. *** of a 2!!!
This is definitely my first Hole in One. 153 yards on the fly. I didn't see it due to a little ground mist but I heard the flagstick clatter.
Holed a 60yd. pitch on 18 for the birdie and the win. Nothing but net!
My best shot was a 221 yard 5 wood shot for an eagle 2 on a par 4 of 447 yards.
Best shot for me was my first hole in one! 170 yard par 3 on September 27, 2015. Capped off a fun golf vacation!
I was on vacation in North Carolina, so unfamiliar with the courses. On a Par 4, I hit driver off the tee, right down the middle, and to my surprise, the cart path cut across the fairway, just beyond one of the many rolling hills, and my ball hit the cart path, and ricocheted up into the air and toward the hole, leaving me about 20-yards in front of the green. Was guessing it was about 350-360 yards, right down the middle. Longest straightest drive I ever hit.
My most memorable shots come when under pressure. My best this year was during a scramble with myself being the last of the 4some to attempt a putt from just off the green on the top tier to a pin 50ish feet away on the lower tier. It was long enough to enjoy watching it roll toward the hole and drop to save birdie. I am by no means a great putter, but hit enough long putts and a few might drop. This was a fun one.
