On the European Tour, Pablo Larrazabal (FJ ICON MyJoys and StaSof) claimed the BMW International Open in a playoff for his second career victory.  Larrazabal shot four rounds in the sixties to finish the tournament at 16-under par.  The victory earns Pablo a spot in the Open Championship next month at Royal St. George's.

Eric Compton won the Mexico Open on the Nationwide Tour for his first career victory.  The win moves Compton to 15th on the Nationwide Tour money list virtually guaranteeing him a PGA Tour card in 2012.  "To win this is everything to me. I never thought I'd play golf again, at least not at this level, and I proved to myself I'm more than just a guy with two heart transplants."

  • Yani Tseng was dominant during this ladies major.  She is now tied for shooting 19 under in a major, is the youngest ever to win four majors, and just blew her competition away.  What a performance!  And she's long off the tee, too.  This is what many expected of Michelle Wie when she first emerged.

  • It was very cool to watch her dominate, and fun to watch play.

  • I didn't see her, but its great to see more FJ tour staff athletes playing well!
