Ten time PGA Tour winner and Masters Champion Zach Johnson is no stranger to closing the deal down the stretch of big events against the world's best players, and this weekend he did not disappoint. Four strokes down with eight holes to play, Zach Johnson birdied four of seven holes to tie for the lead heading to the eighteenth.
Then, from the middle of the fairway on the final hole of regulation, Johnson inexplicably hits his eight iron approach into the green front hazard. Recomposing himself and taking his drop at 58 yards, Johnson, who is widely regarded as one of the best with a wedge in his hands, holes out the shot to save par and force a playoff!
On the first hole of the playoff, Johnson played the 18th with much less drama, hitting the fairway, and green and two putting for a par. His playing competitor would fail to get up and down from a greenside bunker giving Zach the victory.
Zach Johnson opted for the always reliable DryJoys Tour golf shoe and StaSof golf glove during his winning performance.
