It was a fantastic weekend for FootJoy wearer Lorena Ochoa who won the HSBC Women’s Championship by 11 shots on the Tanah Merah’s Garden Course .Competing for the first time since winning the ADT Championship in November, her eighth victory of 2007, Ochoa finished at 20-under 268. She entered the final round with an eight-shot lead after opening with rounds of 66, 65 and 69, and steadily built on it through three rain delays. Ochoa missed a chance to break Cindy Mackey’s 72-hole record for margin of victory, 14, but topped her own mark of 10 in the 2006 Tournament of Champions.
Wearing a pair of FootJoy women’s golf shoes, the top-ranked Mexican star strode to her 18th career LPGA Tour victory earning her $300,000.

FootJoy - #1 Shoe in Golf
It was a FootJoy playoff at the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am, where Steve Lowery captured his first PGA TOUR victory in more than seven years with a birdie on the first extra hole. Lowery, who closed with a final round 68 (-4), topped Vijay Singh, who birdied the 72nd hole to force the sudden death playoff. Both players finished regulation at 278 (-10). The win was the third of Lowery's career, all of them in playoffs. At 47, he is the oldest winner in 71-year history of the tournament.
Lowery's playoff win was the second straight for FootJoy golf shoe players on the PGA TOUR. Last week, J.B. Holmes won on the first extra hole of the FBR Open.
A long time FJ wearer, Steve prefers the stylish look and platform stability of FootJoy Classics Tour golf shoes.
FootJoy was the shoe of choice for more players at this week's AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am. 67% of the field laced up a pair of FootJoy shoes in the desert (nearest competitor 21%).
