European Marketing Coordinator – FootJoy
Acushnet Europe Ltd, Europe’s leading golf manufacturer based in St. Ives, Cambridgeshire, is currently looking to recruit a European Marketing Coordinator for FootJoy.
In this challenging role responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
• Monitoring and coordinating both design and production of Point of Sale materials on time and on budget, project price negotiation, and the effective maintenance of FootJoy display and point of sale inventory levels to ensure efficient distribution of merchandising support to UK Area Sales Managers and Continental operations.• Production of catalogue and consumer leaflets, including vendor briefing, copywriting, and translation and photography coordination.• Managing the flow of design projects through the in-house Graphic Designers, monitoring and maintaining up to date content for the European websites, and coordinating the production and distribution of the FJ newsletter.• The provision of close liaison with the UK Product Team, Sales Managers, Salesforces and Customer Service Teams, also with Country Managers and their Sales Teams throughout Europe, and US marketing staff.• Response to calls and emails from consumers, customer accounts, suppliers and potential suppliers on a regular basis.• Assistance with preparations for Sales Meetings/Exhibitions. The successful candidate should also be prepared to attend internal/external sales meetings and present merchandising plans as required.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone of graduate calibre who is well organised, energetic and enthusiastic, with a strong work ethic. Candidates should demonstrate a flexible attitude to their work, and be able to work reliably to tight deadlines. Familiarity with basic Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint is assumed.
Ideally candidates should have had at least one year’s previous experience in a marketing-related position, and will be a natural communicator. A background in golf, together with a sound knowledge of the golf industry would be a distinct advantage. An eye for design and good numeracy and literacy skills are also important attributes.
