The European Tour heads back on to European soil for the first time this season at Aloha Golf Club where Spain's Miguel Angel Jimenez plays host. The last time this event was held at Aloha GC, FootJoy ambassador, Thomas Levet came out on top.
Matteo Manassero (FJ Sport and StaSof Glove) will be looking for a strong week as he tries to push himself in to the field for The Masters next month. He put himself right into contention on Thursday to lead with a fantasic 8 under par, so will hopefully push on and feature in the mix come Sunday afternoon.
Ignacio Garrido will be enjoying home crowd support this week. He was wearing the XPS-1 shoe when we saw him on Tuesday's practice day. Ignacio has been wearing the XPS-1 exclusively since it's early launch to the Tour back in June last year. He was joined on the practice tee by David Dixon and Andrew "Beef" Johnston, as XPS-1 loyalists.
There were some great looking MyJoys on display in Aloha, FJ ambassadors, Tano Goya and Oscar Floren both broke out some stylish attire on Wednesday and topped them off with complementary MyJoys. Tano will also be involved with a ‘MyJoys May’ promotion in the coming months, so keep an eye out for that.
FootJoy loyalist, Agus Domingo, who gained his Tour card at Q-School in December, was following in Goya, and Floren's foot steps, by colour matching his FJ Sport shoe with clothes and caps. This is Agus' rookie season on the European Tour, so we wish him well.
Lee Slattery dropped by to order some MyJoys. If you have seen Lee on the course, he is renowned for his fashion sense, so nothing like adding a selection of MyJoys to finish off his style. Lee will also join Tano in MyJoy’s May competiton.
Early season winners, and FJ ambassadors, Jbe Kruger and Rafa Cabrera Bello, both made the trip back from Miami, after competing in the WGC event last week. Both will be looking to continue their early season form.
