FootJoy wearer Rafael Cabrera Bello, shot an impressive final round 11- under par 60, to win the Austrian Open in Vienna. The win was the Spaniard’s maiden European Tour Title which moved him into the elite field of 13 players to ever shoot 60. Going into the final round, the 25-year-old sat eight shots off the lead but managed to make up the deficit with a sensational burst that saw him hole a hat trick of birdies from the third and then four in succession from the eighth. Further impressive iron shots at the 13th and 14th saw the birdie train continue, moving the SciFlex wearer into the outright lead for the first time. A fine approach at the last set up an eagle opportunity which would have made Cabrera Bello the first player on the European Tour to shoot 59, but unfortunately his putt came up short. The Spaniard managed to hole out for birdie, earning him the first place prize of £145,507 with a final score of 20- under par.
