Ricardo Gonzalez (DryJoys & StaSof) won the SAS Masters at the Barseback Golf Club in Malmo, Sweden. The impressive Argentine birdied five of his last six holes, on the longest course in European Tour history (7,665 yards), to win by two ahead of fellow FootJoy wearer Jamie Donaldson. Spectators would never have guessed that the 39-year-old had struggled for form before the event, never finishing in the top ten all season. Gonzalez produced moments of magic in his final round, which included a holed bunker shot on the 17th which saw him move clear of the field. Closing with a four-under 69, Gonzalez finished on 10-under-par to claim the first place prize of €166,660.

The Argentine’s fellow FootJoy wearers pushed him hard with all of the top five placed players putting their faith in the #1 Shoe and Glove in Golf.
