The introduction of Stability PODS™ to DryJoys ensured that an exciting new chapter opened for the iconic FootJoy golf shoe – still at the leading edge of waterproof leather golf shoe technology after twenty years. The new DryJoys specification inspired some sensational designs, led by the DryJoys ‘Tech’ style with its distinctive TPU saddle and mid-foot stability bridge.
It was a great platform to build on and the 2009 DryJoys have taken the look and feel of this high performance shoe up another level. DryJoys Tech is there in the guise of white waterproof leather shoes with blue and red or black and onyx saddle and accents. The contemporary end of the new DryJoys range is completed by a new sports saddle shoe design in all white and white and brown.
For the DryJoys wearer favouring a more traditional look, there’s a stunning series of four black and white styles. White with black lizard print, black with black lizard print and all white and all black shoes with gator print leather saddles. Eight designs in all and seven new for 2009 make up the range.
DryJoys has always stood up to be counted on Tour. The latest generation is no different. European Tour Pro Louis Oosthuizen picked-up a pair on his way to a top ten finish at the Dubai Desert Classic recently and was not only amazed at just how comfortable they were straight out of the box, but the reduction in weight from his normal shoe. Welcome to DryJoys Louis.
You can view the shoe once again voted ‘Best Golf Shoe’ in the Today’s Golfer Awards on the FootJoy website. And if you’re feeling really creative, you can design your own style on the MyJoys website. You could then be less than three weeks away from wearing a quite unique pair of this very special golf shoe.
