The first Monday in September dawned fair as a select group of Club Professionals and FootJoy staff assembled at Brocket Hall for the FootJoy Golf Day. The group were also joined by Karl McMahon, winner of the ‘Win a place in the FootJoy Golf Day’ competition in the last issue of The Comfort Zone.

The Comfort Zone caught up with Karl on the practice putting green and the 21 handicapper from Liverpool was more than impressed with the occasion. Tour Pro’s Jeev Milkha Singh, Ross McGowan and Rory McIlroy had just given short and long game clinics including a long drive challenge (won by Rory) during which, questions were asked by the audience – including our man Karl.

The day was completed with a 18 holes of the Melbourne Course at Brocket Hall, including the chance to play a hole with each of the visiting professionals, and dinner. A fantastic experience for Karl and all of FootJoy’s guests at a truly memorable day
