Aussie Scott Strange cruised to a flawless vistory in the Celtic Manor Wales Open, closing with a stunning round of 64 to take the title by four clear shots. The first playing of the Wales Open on the 2010 course which will play host to the Ryder Cup in two years time brought some tough conditions as rain and wind made the course play its full yardage, but Strange was more than man enough to accept the challenge. Despite suffering from dizzy spells on the course on Saturday Scott was able to put these behind him and focus on scoring, which he did with a fantastic final tally of 22 under par for the event.

Swede Robert Karlsson continued his strong run of form with another second place, who by his own admission was playing as well as he could and was impressed to see Strange maintaining the margin. Both players relied on the Tour proven performance and comfort of FootJoy Classics Dry Premiere Golf Shoes and FootJoy StaSof Golf Gloves.
