Nearly four years after his previous European Tour win, Thomas Levet won the Mapfre Open de Andalucia on the first extra playoff hole. The playoff pair finished three clear of overnight leader Lee Westwood, who had gone clear of the field after birdieing four of his first six holes in his final round, but it was Westwood's fellow FootJoy ambassador, Levet, who strode to victory to claim the title and the £129,849 prize money.

Levet put his trust in a pair of all black FootJoy Classic golf shoes (50859), which carried him to victory in ultimate comfort.

FootJoy was the shoe of choice for more players at this week's Open de Andalucia with seven of the top ten players putting their faith in FootJoy shoes.
