FootJoy ambassador Adam Scott followed up a third round 65 (-7) with a final round 66 (-6) to finish at 271 (-17), capturing the Shell Houston Open by three strokes over third-round leader. It marked the fifth career PGA TOUR title for Scott and his 12th as a professional.

Scott topped a leaderboard that included 10 FootJoy shoe wearers among the 13 who finished among the Top 10 and ties. The victory is the 7th for FootJoy players on the 2007 PGA TOUR.

FootJoy was the golf shoe of choice at the Shell Houston Open with 104 (72%) nearly 6 times the nearest competitor with 18.
