It's winter (well, not down here) and it's a great time to read a book while looking out the window to dream of beautiful days to come. So, what's your favorite golf read/book? "Dead Soild Perfect" by Dan Jenkins is mine.
I read the Harvey Penick books almost every year. Would have loved to meet the man.
Have this one in my office at work.
I bought one for Eric's birthday which came with crayons and popped up in the middle.
Unfortunately he tore the book in several places and there is now some rather poor artwork on the walls in his parents house.
Eric doesn't live with his parents anymore. He has converted the garage into an apartment.
I thought it was the basement
Was going to say anything by Penick but I am not a huge golf book guy. I'd rather listen to them speak or attend a seminar.
The Penick books is def a classic. I like any of the Feherty compilation An Idiot books and enjoy all of the Feinstein golf books.
One that I've gotten the most help from managing my game is, "Think like a Caddie, Play Like a Pro."
The Grand Slam: Bobby Jones, America and the Story of Golf-By Mark Frost
Great read that I try and get through every spring.
I'm sad (and yes, somewhat ashamed) to say I haven't really read many golf books...however this thread is motivating me to read some of the books others have listed.
The Simple Golf Swing by David Nevogt.
I like the Harvey Penick books as well. Every time I open one of them I see something that I should remember to do. Good reads.
The Natalie Gulbis calendar gets my vote :-)
