In my search for colourful work shoes I was wondering whether Spikeless Assyms would be the thing? In the right colours could you imagine them with a suit and a complementing tie? I'm very tempted and would like to know has anyone here tried this? Blues, chocolates, limes all seem rather appealing and indeed the patents and patterns beckon. I may have to try a spikeless shoe on, but if any of you have them it would be nice to know what they feel like to walk in and whether in the context of work you would know they were a golf shoe?

They fit like the FJ ICON and only the only difference I can tell is that they feel a touch lighter.  Most certainly my favorite part about wearing them is they are fully waterproof which is nice for us Northerners!

Have these ones on today.

Haven't tried the Assyms yet but I have Shield-Tip spikeless shoes and love them. I also own a pair of 57094's I'll wear when white comes in fashion after Easter.

Did not know the ICON style came in a spikeless shoe/version.

They look like they are very comfortable from the picture though.

I think the Asyms (and any of the Icon style spikeless) would look great for work shoes.  And if they fit like the Icon then you definitely can't go wrong.

Devin,

Is that some sort of gator or snake skin?  Those are sweet!

It is the old large charcoal croc. We ran sold out of it around April/May 2011.

I think he said that he tried a similar type shoe that was not FJ, but it didn't have the same fit as a FJ. ;)

Wheelez, I'm not sure I'm following you buddy, could you clarify what you mean?

FF Any of the FJ Professionals (without spikes) will be quite comfy as work shoes. I might compare them to how a nice pair of "bucks" feels when you wear those. On snugly because they are a tie shoe, supportive, and lovely when you walk. After all, PGA Professionals like 19 are on their feet all day, so comfort is mandatory. And think of all the MyJoys options you have! Oh yes, you can wander out to the course for some putting practice and not be required to change!

And yet this particular thread and question posed by the original poster (FairwayFinder) was specifically about FootJoy Professional Spikeless Asymmetrical shoes and not some other brand...
