Didn't want to get my new Icons all muddy and full of goose crap so wore my old shoes. Didn't realize how comfortable the new ones were. Guess I will have to wait until things dry out. Icons rule.

MG, absolutely the new Icons are "mucho comfortable." I actually have a couple pair of DryJoys, which are equally comfy, but won't suffer in the wetter conditions. Playing here in Michigan requires that one's shoe line-up reflects playing in pretty much all 4 seasons. Never know what you'll run in to, so we have to be prepared.

Right out of the box -  ICONs are the best - even if you have to clean the "GOOSE" off of the bottom when you finish (that's exactly why I carry a stiff brush in my vehicle).

Sorry to hear that your feet hurts, but that eases my mind about the Icons and how there isn't any breaking them in.  I can't wait for mine to arrive!

i can't wait to play my first round in my new icons. tar heel's advice is sound with respect to investing in a pair of dry joys to use in the less than ideal conditions.

There is absolutely no break in period and it's a great thing too because I plan on breaking out new pairs before tournaments and there won't be any worries on my end about their comfort .  Can't wait.

Have any of you had the same experience with FJ Sports? I am looking at possibly picking up a pair and really didn't want to go through a breakin period.

I always said that eccos were the best but I am a true convert  to Icons now.
