What do all of you prefer to do; Use a cart, a caddie or carry your own bag?

I prefer to carry my own clubs, but I've been thinking about getting a pull cart for a little less stress on the body.  I've been researching the best options out there for pull carts.

Carry (pull cart or Sunday bag) , cart, then caddie.

I prefer to carry.  Unfortunately most of the courses in my area require a cart on the weekends.

push cart as long as the hills aren't too bad. ther are a few courses that have elevations changes i can't really handle but most are walkable any day of the week.

I prefer to walk. We are also required to use a cart on weekends, but a caddie is ok too. During the week I carry my own, weekends a caddie..

carrying your own bag or having a caddie keeps you mentally in the game more that jumping in a power cart and zipping around. For me, I hit better shots and put better swings on the ball because my body stays loose.

I loop it myself.  I play 6-7 times a week and it would get quite pricey if I was taking a cart or caddy all of the time.  I do ride around occasionally, but for the most part I am hoofing it myself.

Carry my own - luckily on the weekends, we can walk as long as it's in the first hour, so it's turned into the same couple dozen guys every Saturday and Sunday morning.

I use a Click It push cart whenever possible. Not alot of courses here that make you ride at anytime.

It is easier to keep focus by walking the course. And any fitness is a bonus.

For me it depends on what I'm playing - tournaments I like to carry or pull cart it if the course if really long so I can try to stay focused on my own game - if I'm out with friends for fun and comraderie I defintely cart it -- I do wish I could play the types of courses where a caddy is available they could be quite insiteful

A buddy of mine has the Clic Gear cart.  That is one great piece of engineering.  How something that cumbersome can fold down into something about a foot square is beyond me.

I agree with fishbone0600 ... I keep my head in the game much better when I walk/carry or walk/caddy.  I find I don't have the opportunity to go for my Blackberry and answer emails ... which is a very good thing.

I will walk 9, but usually cart when playing 18. Walking 18 is really hard on my knees (ACL has been fixed 3 times between both knees). Agree that when you walk you have your head in the game a little more, can really see the slope of the course and get a better idea of the yardage.
