Like many companies, Footjoy limits it's contests and sweepstakes to the United States.  While I don't pretend that Canada or any other country can create the demand for product the way The U.S. can, I also know that Footjoy gets a good bit of business from outside the U.S.

I don't know the legalities of running sweepstakes in other countries, but some companies will run separate contests for Canada if they can't include them in the regular contests.

Please consider us in other countries.  We are just as loyal and commited to your product and being omitted is akin to a slap in the face.

Hello mtboys62 and welcome to the Community! We're glad you're here.

We actually get this question a lot, and deservedly so. I can understand your frustration.

Unfortunately, every country has specific laws, rules and regulations that govern contests such as these, ranging from laws that require governmental registration to laws that forbid these types of contests altogether. Because of the wide range of rules and regulations, it is not possible to create a contest that is universally available to all of our valued product users.

Please note that our websites in certain counties sponsor contests for residents of those countries from time to time. If you haven't already done so, please visit our Canadian FJ site which also runs contests very similar to the ones you see here.

We hope this is helpful. I assure you we value ALL of our customers regardless of where they tee it up! Thank you for your support of our products.

Regards,

Chris

Welcome my friend. I'm sure you will find some things to your liking as Chris has detailed. This legal stuff across the borders is a big headache. Hopefully you get some sweet things in Canada to participate in. Cheers...
