I was watching Ernie finally win again (Congratulations to him!) and thinking about that course. The Blue Monster. Thats a great name. If you were to design a course, what kind of nick names would you want for it?
HOW ABOUT DEVIL'S DEN, RING OF FIRE (A 3 COURSE LAYOUT), TIDDLY LINKS, THE ODYSSEY, THE LAST STAND, ......
There is a course in Canada outside Toronot called the Devil's Pulpit. Great name, hard course.
In the Pinehurst area there is another called simply, The Pit. It doesn't do it justice, because most people think of a Pit as a dump, and this course is actually quite nice.

PEBBLE BEACH, SPYGLASS,KING& THE BEAR,OCEAN COURSE SOMETHING THAT DESCRIBES A FEATURE OF THE COURSE.
