I agree, I think he did a really good job. It's always good to have one of the players up there to give some insight and perspective.

I liked him in the booth.  I always like to hear a players perspective of the game.

He tweeted numerous times he was very nervous and he was more nervous than playing in a tournment.  I think he did a good job and it didn't show at all.  I just think like with anything else the more he is in the booth.. the more comfortable he will get.

I like FAX, he is a real class act and I think would bring a lot of current experience to the booth.

That said, anything would be better than the drivel that comes out of Faldo's mouth. Come to think of it I'm getting a bit tired of Miller too!!!

Time for some intelligent, fresh blood in the booth!

I found it interesting that we had Johnny Miller and Brad Faxon. Think about it... Miller was a great talent but had to leave the game because his putting was awful. He was always known as a great ball striker and a player that was one to beat every time he teed it up.

Then there's Faxon, arguably one of the best putters ever. A fair ball striker who got more from his game than many, but always dangerous with a flat stick in his hands.

A couple times over the weekend I sensed an odd little angst as Mr Miller made a comment about someone's putting, but would say, "what do you see Brad?" Not quite defferential, but clearly a different tone than Mr Miller usually uses. It was really quite interesting.

I think Mr Faxon has a place in the booth going forward.

Faxon belongs in teh booth and Miller needs to  stay away from the game for a rest. His comments are getting repetitive and the booth needs some fresh insight and talent. Faxon is the one to take the forefront.

I was at Doral on Saturday and saw Brad Faxon on the range chatting up the players as they warmed up. I for one am all for having someone like Brad Faxon in the booth as it gives a players perspective to the audence.

I am all about having players in the booth, they just paint the picture so much better.   Except for Mr. Johnny Miller!!!  at times yea he is hailarious, but sometimes i just want to hit mute and sit in a silent room.
