Ive been a musician my whole life too. Played, guitar, piano, bass, drums, flute, violin, and I used to sing professionally too. My main hobby right now is my kids though.
Go Hokies bowls during the winter season (September through mid-April), goes to Virginia Tech Sporting Events, collects FootJoys, and carries around a camera.
Go Hokies
I don't understand. There is life outside of golfing??
OU sports fan, daughter plays club soccer(so there is any spare time),
I play and coach soccer in my spare time - and sneak out before sunrise to play golf on the weekends.
Much like Hokie I carry a camera around.
I also have a small collection of gas powered RC cars and trucks.
YARD AND GARDEN, FJ FORUM, AND #1 THE WIFE AND GRANDKIDS (4) WHENEVER WE GET A CHANCE. WE HAVE A PUTTING GREEN IN THE SIDE YARD SO SPEND SOME TIME OUT THERE.
I like fishing, video games (winter), movies and anything that involves the beach/ocean.
Hmmmm hobbies
I am crazy about college sports, most notably (duh) , North Carolina Tar Heels sports, especially basketball. Just love the whole atmosphere. When my daughter went to college, I just happened to go to a football game, which just happened to be in the Big House. So I became a fan of the University of Michigan football team. Sadly, they have been quite bad the past couple years, but sitting in that football stadium on a Saturday afternoon is just so chilling. I've also gone to several Michigan hockey games, which are so great, if you like hockey.
So I like to do family oriented stuff when I can visit my daughter. Then my wife and I travel a good bit, which lets me play golf and let's her hang out with friends and sit in the sun. Hilton Head, Palm Springs, and other warm weather climates are always on our radar.
Nice question Bruce
Eric, I can't imagine a Husker with extra time on your hands.
Like memphisunited I have coached soccer and basketball for both of my kids, when my wife doesn't have me re-landscaping my yard, I try to get my golf and fishing fix. I'll have a little more time on my hands when my daughter becomes a second generation Jayhawk architecture student in the fall.
Grandchildren, Fishing, Camping and family, not necessarily in that order.
other than dreaming about actually playing golf, i'm a huge sports fan and memoribilla collector. fan of the reds and bengals and of course kentucky wildcats basketball. and i love going to different shows and arenas and trying to get autographs. me and my dad have been doing that for years.
i'd have to say food and wine, which pairs nicely with golf. i like sailing as well.
I enjoy camping . fishing, traveling and collecting wine, not necessarily in that order.
Is their anything other than golf?? : )
College football would be the biggest for me, followed by NHL and then college hoops. During the summer I love going to Brewers games and cookouts in the backyard witht he family.
Both kids are still very young (5 & 3) so not really into sports for them yet, but that will be a big focus as they get older.
