Golf doesn't owe me anything so I keep my emotions in check.  I don't usually show I am upset or let a shot bother me.  If I continually hit some bad shots I may get frustrated but I don't think it does any good to get upset because then you play worse.

I hit bad shots, I hit good shots and I live with the outcome.  I am having fun, doing something I enjoy so why get mad?  I'm not doing it for a living or losing/making money so I can't be too upset about a poor shot.  It happens.

you know, it all comes down to self expectation. too much of it leads to frustration and too much of that leads to what you are describing seeing on the course. the beauty of the game of golf is that even if our reality is in check with our abilities, we can still have a bad day out there which can lead to some not such nice behavior. no need to torture ourselves and others, if we can get off the course, do. if not, let's try to keep cool shall we?

Not a club thrower. I usually just roll my eyes and say "Oh, Chris," and move one. Life's too short for me to obsess over bad shots.
