Me and buddy were thinking about this last week. Since we played Harbour Town and Ocean Course last year as the big ones to play we were thinking of new courses to play this year? We were thinking Sawgrass and Pinehurst for this year. I might get to play in a 4man event at Sawgrass in March but if that doesn't come through.. I still would like to play there.
What courses are on you "To Play" list for this year?
Well of course the Augusta National... If I should get an invite!
I'm hoping to play Muirfield Village on the home front. I get to play 2 member-guests in Florida in March. One at Grey Oaks in Naples and one at Belleair Country Club. We are also hoping to hit the Greenbrier or the Homestead in the fall. Hope to find a deal or two. One cool option to play private CC's without being a member is Boxgroove.
In Michigan here I'm planning a trip north to play Arcadia Bluffs -- hearing fantastic things about this course.
On a national front, I'd like to get to Florida to play Sawgrass and if I ever had a chance although last I heard its over $400 to play, I'd be willing to do it once for Pebble Beach.
Here are a couple of local ones for me:
The Bull in lake geniva
Steeplechase in Chicago
Whistling Straights
University Ridge in Madison
All great courses that are not supper crazy to play (except Whistling Straights)
By the way, good to see another lefty in the mix.

Pebble Beach, Bay Hill, TPC Sawgrass as well as Glen Abbey
Pinehurst, Sawgrass, Doral (Blue Monster) and Seminole.

You have not been to Arcadia yet? OMG. My advice is that you put it number one on the 2010 list, because it's that good. I played it in 2008 and was in awe the whole time. My advice to you is to plan a weekend, stay at Crystal Mountain Resort (20 minutes away) and then make a plan to do 36 one day at Arcadia. It's definately worth making 2 loops as you will spend the first 18 just admiring the views and the course. Truly a fabulous day.
I'm headed back to TPC Sawgrass, and planning on playing Bethpage Black, realwomengolf, the Greenbrier is a great course you should definatly check it out its my home course.
I have been dreaming about the Bandon,Oregon courses for three years.
Offshore my dreams go to the Melbourne sands of Australia.
Maybe some day.....
Have a spring trip planned for Kohler, WI to play a long weekend of golf on a company trip. One round at the Straights and The Irish and unlimited at Blackwolf Run. I hope work doesn't get in the way of an enjoyable trip.
I'm also working on getting on Rich Harvest and Erin Hills for the 2010 season.
Augusta. I'll let you know how that pans out ;-)
DOGLOSKI,
Bandon Dunes is one of the best courses in the world. If you can play it, do it. I have heard MANY good things but I can't seem to find a way on... plus its half way across the nation for me.

I have not played Erin Hills but have heard it is amazing. Sounds like you will be hitting some great courses.
Two courses that I have been dying to play for quite some time now are Oakland Hills South and Pinehurst #2. Low and behold I have made that a reality. I am headed to Pinehurst in March and I have several opportunities to get out on Oakland Hills this summer. To say the least, I am stoked!

With all the bad weather. "ANY" course would be fine.
