i don't know if this would be the right forum, but how often are there contests for ambassadors? the thing that i like that hendrick said is you earn your way to be an ambassador. i like how that was worded. i'd rather that than some people with money coming in and joining. i've tried buying stuff from cameron and can't because i don't have the time and $300 to spend on the headcover i like. thanks for straightening me out. i change my vote haha.

GOOD IDEA BUT NO FEE OR MINIMAL FEE.  I AM ON FIXED INCOME AND HAVE TO WATCH MY PENNIES.

I AM ENJOYING THE SITE JUST AS IT IS.

I REALLY LIKE THE WAY IT IS SET UP NOW WHERE YOU EARN YOUR WAY IN. IT MIGHT BE GOOD SOMEDAY TO RAISE THE LEVEL OF POINTS REQUIRED TO KEEP SOME LEVEL OF EXCLUSIVITY.

I WOULD BET THAT IF FJ WOULD CREATE AN EXCLUSIVE LINE JUST FOR THE AMBASSADORS THAT THE 30 OR SO OF US NOW WOULD KEEP FJ OUT OF STOCK.

This issue was brought up some time ago before you joined the community. The concensus of opinion was to not have any fee for joining and this was the way the staff wanted this to be. I, like the staff, believe that this community would be better served and have a greater membership without any fees involved.

As to special contests for Ambassadors, we have had a few, but none recently. When we so, the staff has come thru with some really nice gear. They may be planning something even now and we all appreciate whatever they do for us.

I am also a member of Club Cameron and like both the models there and here.  As long as Chris mentioned that we might have a chance to win that FJ buckle, I am happy as can be as is.

I say leave it as it is.

This way it makes it a little mor interesting.  If it is going to be based on fees in order to be at the top then there is really no need to work as hard.

I appreciate this being a free site. The feedback comes from numerous golf fanatics without regard to buying your way in. With the requirements for Ambassador status, it takes close to 300 posts, contest entries and reviews to enter. That, for most of us, takes time and thought. The idea that Ambassadors could be bought and not made would be quite disappointing to me.

I like things the way they are...

I'd like to see more Ambassador club sweepstakes, but other than that you should have to earn your way into product

I like this site more for the comraderie and friends
