With help from his hard working mother and stepfather, this long-hitting Englishman earned the opportunity to learn the game at one of the most prestigious clubs in Europe, the Wentworth Club. Introduced to the game at the age of three, Ross earned his keep at Wentworth, first in his role as a range assistant then when he was awarded one of the club’s junior golf scholarships and later as an ambassador for the resort as a world-class European Tour star.

With such an impressive pedigree, earned his European Tour card in 2006 and wasted little time in making his mark, finishing T4 in his first event and ending the year ranked 66th on the Order of Merit. He rose to the next level when he claimed his first title the following year at The KLM Open and later dominated a world-class field to win The European Open by seven strokes on his home soil at The London Golf Club.

Ross is a great example of how anything is possible with some hard work and perseverance. Couple with his cool, calm demeanor, Ross Fisher is an ICON for golfers who make their break instead of waiting for it!
