Poor mans Pebble Beach

Can't say that I have but going by the pics looks very cool.

Just about to google it and get some info.

What was the verdict? Play as good as it looks?

Caught the great pics on your other thread....Have never played 'Poor Mans' or Pebble Beach yet !

Great track, 3 nines, wind is always up some so that ads to the difficulty. Hotel on site. Ensenada is 20 minutes away with great seafood options.

If you are ever in the Southern CA area definitely worth the trip. Only hassle is return back accross the border into the US. Depending on the time it can take a while.

Looks good, what does the poor mans pebble run you ? How much does it cost ?

Hey Randy best deal is twilight rate 2-4 at $53 for 18 holes. It is one of those places though that you will want to play the other 9. Will make you use every club in your bag!

Interesting - I had always heard locals in Santa Barbara refer to Sandpiper as the "Poor Man's Pebble Beach"... This too is a wonderful venue that moves along the dramatic shoreline as well as inland  - A beautiful routing..Payed here a couple of times over the years and always enjoyed it. Not as cheap as Bajamar, but far, far less expensive than Pebble!
