I wasn't on the boards during the grand slam of golf last month. i was fortunate enough to play port royal earleir this year. even more fortunate enough to get paired with a member. he was 80 years old, great company, better than a caddie and man, could he golf that little white ball.  I was amazed at how burnt out some sections of the course were. of course, the holes along the water more than made up it. any impressions from others.

Port Royal is a dandy and next visit, make sure you play Mid-Ocean. This iconic gem is one of the more interesting and beautiful golf challenges you'll find...anywhere...

Great tip PistolPete. I wanted to play Mid-Ocean too but there just wasn't enough time. I believe they used to play the tournament of champions there at one time. Got to play the Country Club course in Barbados but man, I sure wanted to play the Green Monkey. Planning a trip to the carolinas and Sea Island, GA, this spring. Puerto Rico later in the year.
