I am torn between these, so decided I play enough golf to justify buying both. Actually I'm planning on buying 1 pair of XPS-1s and 2 pair of FJ Sports this fall. I have been planning to purchase a pair of the XPS-1 since it was first introduced earlier in the year. Maybe I missed it on here somewhere, but how is the new 2013 XPS-1, which is to be available in October, different from the 2012 version? From the pics I have seen, it looks the same. I realize there are some different color options, but other than that, what is different? I want a pair of white with blue and silver detail. I know that is available in 2013, but wasn't it available in 2012 also?
Additionally, is there a specific date the new FJ Sports and XPS-1s will be in stores? I noticed on this FJ site that it once said both of these shoes would be "Available Mid-September." However, now it says "Available in October." What is the delay? I am really anxious to get these both on my feet!
Lastly, can anyone tell me if the green detail color on the 2012 FJ Sport is different than the 2013 version? Other than the fact that the newer version has four spikes in the heel as opposed to two on the 2012 model, I think I like the styling on the 2012 model a little better. If the greens are the same from 2012 to 2013, I may purchase last year's green detail model. I also think I'll buy the 2013 white with silver and white detail model for my everyday shoe.
