Men's eComfort foam insert???

I believe it has to do with your heel arches...for instance those with high arches would experience more comfort from the yellow inserts etc...

I may be mistaken but I have seen these before in other shoes and used them for that purpose.

Chris, you are correct, there are different arch heights and they color code the inserts to eliminate confusion.

I've seen this in running shoes as well where there will be a standard arch support in the shoes but will provide another set for those with higher arches.

On an early Sunday morning, I forgot my regular golf shoes so I had to buy a new pair at the proshop. I found a pair of Footjoy eComfort Men's shoes but am perplexed at the bright yellow foam inserts that came in the box. What is their purpose? Do you place them under the shoe liner? They're very comfortable as is, so are these for those who need certain support? Appreciate the insight.

I've been wearing E comforts for quite a while and they are super comfortable and for a shoe very reasonable price point comparable to the average sneaker, they hold up very well. The pair I'm in now are just about through their third season now after lots of walked rounds and virtually no care but cleanings on occasion. I'd buy them again but I can't find them anywhere though, perhaps they have been discontinued too?

I believe you are correct E, I did find a pair last week on eBay and purchased them for a great great price.  I think you may only find these shoes at clearance houses or eBay.

Probably an item that would be great at an Outlet Mall store -- for those of you that remember that posting from 3-4 weeks ago...
