Does anyone know (DG maybe) if there has ever been, or if it has ever been discussed, to offer the lt. Brown/Tan suede leather for the base leather? I'm not actually sure it was Suede, but definitely wasn't smooth leather, that was used on the old tan/ brown saddle classics that I "rocked" for years. Oh how I miss those shoes.

Suede? Not such a good idea in a golf shoe.

Bucks that have that brushed look and feel (suede) are very hard to maintain, and if the get wet, you're pretty much screwed. I have several pairs of casual shoes in suede and they never go out on the bad weather, even with water proofing.

Yeah have had a couple of pairs of regular suede shoes over the years and they definitely do not like the wet.

Very Cool look though.
