Mink oil is a great idea!
My normal routine, may it be wet or dry season is to wipe down the top leather with a dry cloth, then with a damp cloth. Thereafter, with a leather conditioner whenever I remember or have time and it usually ends up being at least once in three months or every month. A shoe tree whenever it's not in use or during its bench time. I change its spikes every year or close to it.
If you do these or some of it, you will add more life and spiffyness (oops is that a word? lol) to your FootJoys! I own an 8 year old pair of DryJoys Pro. I just used it last weekend and they are just fine! It's leather still shines and it's still water proofed. Yes, I'm still in love with it.
