Agreed, but I can't but wonder how long before UA makes some really ugly golf shoes and throws some huge number at him to wear them.

Can understand that the pros need/want a comfortable shoe but call me a traditionalist if you will ... and these shoes look too much like runners for me (sorry FJ) and not keen on the look.

With shorts and on the average joe over summer sure but I'm more into the classic look.

I used to work for UA and from some of my buddies that still work there and it's been talked about and it's likely to happen in the future. However, they are likely going with a sportly look, not the classic look of FJ. Hunter would have to make the choice but UA is a modern style company and would be appealing to many of those golfers who are already using other no FJ shoes, IMO.

Hey Whaql1, Why Does UA make Maryland where the Ugliest uni's in the country ? The ua is an Alum ? While Oregon has an alum that has made them the uniform envy of all college football ? The white ones yesterday were the best the Terps have worn in 3 years :)

I'm not a big fan of these shoes.   I'm sure they are comfy, but without heels, an accident waitng to happen.   Tiger had similar shoes.  He played a shot from an extreme downhill lie near a bunker and I thought he was going to tear his knee apart.   Call me a heel....I'll take tradional heels any day.

Maybe he has a foot injury and needed the comfort this week, may have conceded the season without the Ryder Cup?  Looks like he is yawning. As far as I am concerned he needs a shave, if you like tradition.

(IMHO) HM was done for the season and wanted something else to wear (No TC/RC/Fall Season). He will probably be back in ICONs when 2013 season returns.

Obviously much discussed...I am traditional and do not understand, or like the new casual look... FJSports are about as far out of my comfort zone (no pun intended the Sports have amazing comfort) as I am willing to venture.

Good question? UA likes the modern looks but the Maryland unis where awful. When I was doing alot of marketing for them in the southern Ohio area so I don't know much about the inner workings of the company. I know they like people to say "wow" and sometimes it's not in a positive tone.

I think he's going to be using the M Project shoes actually... New FJ shoes that are pretty sweet looking!

he wore a new FJ shoe that is coming out next year at the British.  they are even less traditional than the Icons.  i guess he's just not a traditionalist (as proven by his outfits).

i'm not a huge fan of Maryland unis, but at the same time, i don't think i would call Oregon's unis the envy of all college football.  they have had some really nasty unis the last couple of years.
