I'm looking to pick up some BOA's on Closeout to give them a try soon.  The feedback is too solid to pass it up it seems....

I had your same thought process regarding "the look" of the BOA 'gadget'. However I can say after wearing a pair of Contour Series with BOA for the past season-and-a-half, I don't reach for any other golf shoes. The pressure is so evenly distributed across your foot that your feel never come to mind, hence that 'gadget' that is behind you and out of your sight never comes to mind. I got jabbed a few times by my 'Buddies' since I'm the "Gadget Guy". However, when I see them hunched over to retie their shoes several times a round, or you see them slip in their follow through because of poor support...I just laugh at my gadget then.  '- )  It'll only bother you if you let it bother you...

Come to the dark side Luke...    ;- )
