    Hello ladies and gentleman!

I recently came across an unused pair of white pebble grain brogue FJ Classics with 12 metal spikes.

Is there an easy way to date these shoes?  The quality is amazing - the construction is as good as some of my high end dress shoes.

I apologize if this question has been asked elsewhere in this great forum.

    Thanks!

Whoops sorry about that - thanks for the heads up Devin.

    ^^ Thanks!

Great looking shoes and in amazing shape for being quarter of a century old.  I graduated high school in 1988 and I am thinking Devin might have still be crawling on the floor back then.  Who knew...

    Thanks for sharing the pic.

I had that exact pair for my Senior Year golf season.  Good Times.

They had a few scuffs and marks on them, but were easily removed with a bit of water and a shoe brush.  The stitched leather sole is of amazing quality.

    Those are really nice.

Had a pair of these back in the midst of time.

Great, great, great shoe ... ENJOY !!!

  •

I had several pair in the 70's and 80's - for traction, it's hard to beat metal spikes, especially on courses with harder ground like we have here.

Good looking shoes. My Grandpa had a pair of those.

They look in great shape for a 25 year old shoe.  Do you plan on wearing those to play  or will they just be a collectors item?  A very nice find.
