Hey all, about to purchase a UK model of Icons not available in the US.

Has anyone amongst you bought FJs from the UK and if so, do the sizes match the published charts.

In may case that is US 9 = UK 8.

I haven't bought any UK sized shoes lately, but I did recently check a size conversion chart.  It showed US 9 = UK 8.5.

Yeah I have read that too but the FJ sizing charts show US 9 = UK 8 hence my uncertainty.

Doesnt the bottom of a FJ shoe box have the conversion chart on it?

Yeah, it does. May have to just bite the bullet and see how I go.

i always thought UK sizes were one size bigger.  my only experience are a pair of Dr. Martin's way back when.  normally wear a 13, but those were a 12.

we like to think our feet ar bigger here in the great U.S.of A

I think the UK size is typically 1 size smaller from the US sizing.  Most shoes carry both the UK and the US sizing on the box.

I use to buy shoe in the UK, and BostonBuzza is right, in the UK is 1 size smaller.

In my case I use UK 8.5 or US 9.5.
