FJ Interview... For Luck

FJ Interview... For Luck

  •

Hey guys.... Poulter wins in Singapore after doing an interview for the FJ guys. Perhaps he was inspired by all the motivational questions posed by we Brand Ambassadors?

Chris, you may have to load up and have another interview in the works for the next tourney with another FJ Staff player! We're magic!

Congratulations IJP. Well done on you!

If I am his luck, he is going to have issues.  LOL

  •

Any of you guys listen to the Jim Rome Show on radio?  He has something that he calls "jungle karma" for those guests that appear on his show.  Maybe there is some FJ community karma?

ya what a qwinkidink that pretty cool

  •

I think it was the comfort of all of his new Icons --- he had some pretty sweet combinations this weekend!!

Got in this one a little late, but hope the tourney went well. Did you win?? Hope you didn't suffer too much from the after effects.

It's tomorrow. Just spent an hour putting in the kitchen as some sort of preparation! Can't wait for tomorrow though, weather looks good (for Winter anyway!). Shoes polished (gone with all white Classics - perfect for a muddy day in England), trousers ironed and bag all ready.

Monday will not be a particularly efficient day at the office though I expect :)

Fieldsy, how'd it go?  Hope you're feeling alright!

Had an awesome weekend thank you, but I learnt a very valuable lesson: DO NOT DRINK HEAVILY THE NIGHT BEFORE PLAYING A COMPETITION!!

I struggled round all day, with some very wayward shots. I did however have the fortune of playing with my close friend who is head greenkeeper at one of the better courses in Surrey who shot a 67 off the blacks. To put that into context, when Tiger played it 2006 he shot a 64. And my friend plays off a 2 handicap (off the same tees as TW). Incredible to watch, but also somewhat humbling.

As we walked up the 9th (played as 18th in the WGC) I'm standing in the middle of the fairway playing my 3rd shot and I notice a little plaque about 20 yards ahead of me. And one 10 yards left of it, and another one slightly right and ahead of it. When I read it.......I realised truly what a different league the Pro's are in. Each plaque was the point on days 1,2 and 3 where Tiger played his 2nd shot from (approx 260 yards with a 5 Wood) into a par 5 green and to putt out each of the days for eagle. I was incredibly happy with a 7!

The Grove is an amazing place for a Brit. We're not used to the levels of service you traditionally get in the States (well, from my exerience anyways), but this place excels. We paid approx $160 and were waited on hand and foot. Other than a caddy (and someone to take my shots for me!) there was nothing we could have wanted for.

A great day, but I won't be dwelling on my performance!
