Did you watch the end of the first round. It felt like TW and Rory just wanted to complete the matches, so they could leave. did anyone else get that impression?

I think when Rory missed that shot on 18 in the bunker he couldn't believe it and just wanted to walk off the course.

Bet Rors is really happy he changed equipment... Missed cut and out in first round in two events this year.

  •

Tiger had no chance against Charlie three sticks.  He has the game going right now.

Rors got beat by some great playing as well.

    TT

Piercy Takes down Donald hard 7 and 6 and we are down to one number one seed. oh wait Louie lost today.

Who is going to win this ?

  •

Tiger said he took a week off; didn't touch a club. That is a shock to me, even if he said that he was having family time. Rory has to get used to the new crap in his bag so I can understand that but it's hard to take a week off even if he had two weeks to get ready.

I can him Thurston and it's a better nickname the charlie three balls or whatever it is. he was knocking them dead on the pin against TW though. he has played really solid so far this year.

    Titleist/FJ over the traitor!

    Well done Stricker!

  •

And now we see the mighty fall. What happened?? Seeing the highly rated players fall by the wayside is interesting and shows just how on any given day any player can win.

And Stricker survives after 21 holes. Now we have the following FJ players still alive; Bubba Watson, Webb Simpson, Scott Piercy,

Steve Stricker, Nicholas Colsserts, Tim Clark, Robert Garrigus and Hunter Mahan. What a line-up of FJ players still alive. This is going to be an interesting run for the top prize with this many FJ players still in the running.

Probably consoling himself with the 250 mil though.

Hope you right Eagle, but many surprises already happened. GO FJ!!!!!

Quite an interesting round of 16...Colsaerts hits the ball, like Robert Garrigus and Bubba, an absolute mile and then some. Piercy is playing lights out - Wait - Is Bubba really a FJ player these days?? More like a hybrid of brands..I'm rooting for the old man, Steve Stricker! If he putts well, he will be formidable..

Of course he is (bubba)! Many of our players are shoe and glove only.

Yeah, 250 mil is a nice chunk, but his new equipment isn't helping him any. And speaking of that, has anyone noticed that those who have changed from our favorite haven't  really made all that much except that from endorsements?? Even TW stayed with a Scotty for a long time after leaving and now that he is using another brand, his game is not what it was or can we place it on pressure??  Just doing a little guessing, but amybe hitting close to home.

Dove mountain favors the bold like Bubba and the solid like Mahan. I thought Louie O would do better.

Bubba is great. I love this pic from Hawaii where his caddie is holding the ball on the tee and his SWEET icons
