Cool Ryder Cup Memorabilia

  •

I was eating at the Oyster House in Boston and came across some cool Ryder Cup Memorabilla.  It seems Crenshaw took the team to fill up on Oysters and Lobsters in Boston before heading to Brookline.  There's some cool articles and pictures in there.  The best thing was a bib with all the players signatures.  I can't tell if it's a caddie bib or a lobster bib.  Either way the 99 cup was one of the best (The best in my lifetime), and I figured I would share my blurry cell phone picture with everyone.

Thanks for sharing. I love that team. Duval with the fist pump. The most emotion he ever showed on the course.

Who on the 99 team U.S. or Europe was wearing Footjoys?

I still have my tickets, shirts and hats from Brookline. My wife can't understand why I don't "get rid" of the "old clothes".NOT going to happen!

Great piece and would certainly have pride of place in many establishments.

Sure it's worth a fee bucks as well.

Randy, guessing it was quite a few.

Long time ago now but will guess the following:

    US   YES-Maggert/Leonard/O'Meara/Duval/DL3/Stewart   ???-Pate/Lehman/Sutton/Furyk   NO-TW/Mickelson

    EUR YES-Westwood/Clarke/ Van De Veld/Coltart/Jiminez/Olazabal/Lawrie/Montgomerie/Garcia  ??? Harrington/Parnervik/Sandelin

Love the bib.  Great place to eat as well.  It must have been crazy that night.  Thanks a bunch for sharing..good timing as well.

Also, I have a hat from that year, I missed the day I had tickets due to rain, but my wife has also pushed for me to "throw out that old hat".

Good Luck DL3 and Team America!
