BMW 3rd Leg

  •

After watching the first few legs of the Fed Ex, but it appears to me that the rain is getting ahead of these.  All of the greens have been soft and the players are tearing it up with the scores.  Just take a look again at the early morning scores for today...

    Lee Westwood - 5 Under

    Ryan Moore  - 5 Under

    Vijay Singh - 4 Under

    Seugn-Yul Noh - 5 Under

Boston, totally true. these guys just eat up soft greens. Crooked stick will firm up though and then it will be a test.

Why have they not played at Crooked stick much in the last 20 years. All I hear about it is Daly's 91 PGA and not much else. Did is need a redesign or something ?

They really dodged a weather bullet at The Deutsch Bank. Two days of HEAVY rain right after the tournament ended. It would have been a real scheduling mess, especially since the tourney didn't end until Monday.

Yeah give 'em receptive greens with great surfaces and watch out!  ... they're all going low, incredibly low.

Hard to see how it is going to firm up much over the weekend so looks like another shootout which is not necessarily a bad thing.

Yeah, they love it with receptive and smooth greens.

Rors and TW lurking near the lead so should be another great weekend.

Look for some very low scores if conditions stay the same.

Not only are the greens soft, they are playing "lift, clean & place". This will lower the scores.

They are throwing darts at the pins all day long.  These guys are good, soft greens make them great. The soft fairways and lift clean and place make this a birdie fest.

    Incredible leaderboard after Round 3.

Whoever wins tomorrow is going to have to shoot something special.

Plenty of FJ men up there so still a chance of a FJ FEDEX CUP sweep.

Well of course ... Rors shoots the best score amongst the leaders and eclipses the field again.

He is playing some incredible golf and his confidence is sky high.

    Well done Rors and FJ.

The FJ slam of the Fed EX Cup lis still on track and looking to be a very real chance.
