Race to Dubai

  •

Currently Westwood is holding the lead after round two.  Rors is T2 at -7 with Westwood the loner at -9.  I am hoping for some more excellent golf and I watched some of the match this morning (pulled an all nighter for school and fortunately, 3:00AM was the tournament start).  I would like to see Rors pull off the win and take the race but if not, whoever wins will be deserving.

Either Rors or Westwood would be fine with me, good to still be watching golf at this time of year.

THose all nighters will kill ya Eric!

Westwood holds  the lead, but watching it today, Paddy again blew the lead. Water seems to be his Waterloo. Two times in the water on 18. He is not having a good tourney. And what about Rory?? He is giving a good showing of his abilities. Go Rory!!!!

Was able to watch part of it today and Westwood is still in lead with 15 under, followed by McGowan at 13 and Rory at 10. Rory really had a bad one with 3 bogeys in the last 3 holes. I think Rory may be too far behind Lee to win, but tomorrow is another day and stranger things have happened before on the Tour.

Westwood really cleaned  house. Wins the Dubai tournament and also wins chamion status and earns more money than any player on record for one tourney. Over 2 mil ain't bad.

CONGRATULATIONS to Lee and thanks for playing a really great game.

Fantastic finish by Westwood...and whats really great is he is a FJ guy!!!

  •

Yeah... Lee definitely ran away with this one.  Two unique trophies... a wand and a tower.  NICE lol.  Who designs these things?

65 and a 64 in the final rounds for Westwood. Awesome golf.

His caddy told him to 'bully the rest of the field with his golf'. Despite a very good tournie from McIlroy (a FJ wearer) and Ross McGowan (a FJ wearer), Westy won by 6 clear shots. Bullied indeed......
