US Open Tidbit

As it became apparent that Martin Kaymer would win the Open in a cakewalk, I began to focus a bit more on World Cup soccer flipping back and forth between the match of the day and the Open. I flipped back to the Open just in time to watch Zach Johnson ace the ninth hole...Pretty cool but as the announcers went on to point out, the last player to ace the ninth in a US Open also had a last name that began with the letter "J", Peter Jacobsen in 2005. And the playing partner in each instance? Kenny Perry....Now that is just plain eerie..!!

Er, Mr. Perry? Are you available for my member guest in a couple of weeks???!! And would you pair with me for a little charity outing where a hole-in-one wins you a new car??!!

Zach's celebration with the fans was a class act.

Don't forget Kenny's hole out for eagle on Friday.  200 yards from the waste area.

Kenny still has it, his swing is a little odd but he hits the little draw all day long.
