Has anyone here ever gone to the Scotty Cameron exhibits that they have? I just started collecting Camersons and never know when they are but always see pictures after it's over. Just wondering when they are.

Also, I was wondering if anyone has gone through the works and had their putter sent back or anything.

If you check out the cameron collector website there is a section that talks about events.  There are a couple national and international events and also local events that are all discussed.  here is the forum where its discussed

I forgot to ask, I saw somewhere a Cameron headcover with the University of Alabama logo on it. I'm a huge Kentucky fan and would love to find one of these covers if they make them. Didn't know if anyone knew where to get these at.

Good luck getting your hands on the UK or the AJGA covers.  If you do, it will cost you a pretty penny.

Most of the cool headcovers or limited covers will cost a pretty penny.

Wow... this ticks me off a bit.

First, I hate UK so seeing a cover from Scotty just frosts me royally.

I wrote him back around 2 years ago because as a die hard Tar Heel guy I wondered if he would do a UNC cover, especially since Davis Love III is a Scotty passionista and UNC graduate. The reply from Scotty was that he was not / would not make university covers for anyone other than his Tour Pro's. When I look at the UK cover pictured, there is no red Circle T (Touring Pro Only) mark on it, which means it is either a fake or made for someone else and gotten through e-bay or something. It is a bit unlikely that AM&E would make a logo putter cover, because of the licensing violation.

In the end the cover is cool, but my guess is Fake!

Brian, welcome to the FJ team. I've seen you asking lots of questions on the Scotty Cameron stuff. First, all the covers sell out really fast, like within a day or so. If you want them you need to either become a Club Cameron Member ($93 plus shipping) and that gets you first notification if something comes available. Club members pretty much gobble everything up, so general releases are rare. If you don't want to sign up, then start combing E-Bay. A local guy here snags a lot of Club merchandise there, but there are pretty hefty premiums... of course those are negotiable. I saw a Cameron Staff Bag that sold on the site 3 years ago for $499 on E-Bay for $1500. Not for me!

As for the university stuff, I just put a post up on how Scotty has previously communicated to me about NCAA stuff. In short, he said no way due to the licensing stuff. So if you see a UK or Alabama cover, be careful... It's most likely a fake from China. Scotty has not offered an NCAA, MLB, NHL, NFL cover since I have been a member back in 2004.

I can assure you 100% the UK cover which is pictured, which is mine by the way, is real.  UK's golf team has a close relationship with Titleist and Scotty Cameron.  Most of the guys on the team play a Scotty and use that headcover.  Scotty has also done covers for a couple of other college teams and individual players.  Also Titleist will make special event headcovers from time to time with college logos with written permission and approval from the school, I am working with a University as we speak on getting this done for their school.  Next time you write Scotty tell him I said hi :)

Hey Tar Heel, you don't have to get jealous about the whole UK/UNC thing. It's ok. haha just kidding. But I was trying to find out things about the headcovers because I have recently bought my second Cameron and started collecting headcovers for them. I have seen on ebay how expensive they can be. That's why I was trying to find somewhere else where they might be. I like everything but not for as much as some of it is on ebay. I'm getting ready to sign up  for the Cameron club. I did know about that, so at some time I'll be on there.
