Catching up on todays Players Tournament results on PGA.com and had to look up the word "eschews". The headline read "Rory eschews driver". Well pardon me!!! Are these wriers bonkers or what. How about "Rory uses 3 wood "all day off the tee. Can't wait 'til tomorrow when he "chewses" his driver....yikes. Should learn alot from this tournament ...including expanding my vocabulary.
Wish I could "eschew" my 3 wood as good as Rors!
Not a bad thing...eschew away Croc!!
Wish I could do a lot of things like Rory :)
I love seeing what some of these writers put to paper sometimes trying to make their articles just that much "better" than the next guy!
Simple words work quite well, if writers would just use them. They also make it much easier to understand what the writer meant to say. Or I could write this in government proposal language and totally confuse everyone.
