Hunter fought back! It was a good match. I love this tournament.

It is becoming one of the best tournies.  Always some great matches and upsets.

OK TNT, and all the other US based FJC's, will concede the US blitzed this year but Aussie Day and Pommie Poulter tried hard.

BUT ...... and I think I have this right ..... wasn't the whole concept of the WGC to have these "major" like events and fields travelling to all parts of the world promoting this wonderful game of golf but alas as many feared they have all ended up in the US. Not sure the pro's who I assume love the big bucks and the diehard fans who would watch if they were playing in Outer Mongolia would complain but just saying!

It's a great format and love this desert course. 18 holes matchplay can be a bit of a lottery but boy the guy who usually wins this plays superbly all week or gets incredibly lucky somewhere along the way.

Some good goolf, even if the weather was horrible. Just another reason the Tour should think about moving this event. The weather should not take away from the golf.

i really like this event.  i wish there was more match play during the season.  too much wouldn't be good, but i wouldn't mind seeing one more.  maybe even set up like the US AM.

i think these events should be throughout the world, but unfortunately, the big names are almost all based out of the US.  so none of them want to travel that far.  especially during a busy part of the season for a lot of them.  if this tourney, with it's Wednesday start, was somewhere in Asia or even Europe, no one would play the week before and possibly even the week before that.  and most would at least take a week off after.  i think it should move around, just not sure i see it happening.

I found it interesting that Kuchar was using Titleist cart gloves and Poulter a Titleist glove. Bridgestone probably doesn't find it interesting.

i thought that as well.  i'm sure bridgestone wasn't thrilled to see a Titleist product being so prominently displayed.

I guess he stuck with what has worked for him in the past.  Loved seeing him with the Titleist mittens on.  My son picked that one up right away and asked where are his FJ's?

If you looked closely enough you might have seen that the Titleist was very white and prominent when they first started. As the day went on, especially after the lunch break, the Titleist was almost not visable. Almost like the caddie spent some time with a black sharpie on the Titleist logo.

i didn't see it in the morning, but i noticed in the afternoon matches, it looked like someone had blacked out the Titleist.  but it was still visible.  especially since they kept showing closer shots of it and talking about it the entire round.

I AGREE RICK. IT WAS A SHAME THAT SOO MANY SHOTS WERE INFLUENCED BY THE WEATHER.

the whole world has gone crazy...and it ain't just the weird weather....the idiots with guns doing horrible things has clearly increased here in Calif. and a lot of other places. There were very rearely these kinds of mass shootings 20 years ago

Relevance please? what do crazies with guns have to do with the WGC Matchplay event?

Lets keep it about golf.  This a sanctuary for us to talk about what we like.
