And it should be that way, really, they're the best players in the world and could beat us with a Wal-Mart set of clubs! It's purely a money grab!

Nike will always make money with their fitness shoes/apparel.  And they will make the quick money on whatever the best golfers are wearing at the time.  But the FJ/Titleist brand always stays true to the average golfers needs and continues to stay competitive without catering to the needs of the top few (who always rise to power using FJ/Titleist equipment) and are looking for more $$$.

No other company has the quality of product that the Acushnet brand does.

Amen to that. Titleist and FootJoy still outpace and outsell the Nike brand. And from some of those I know who have tried other brands, their comments about service are a long way away from satifactory as those of the Acushnet family who always strive to be the best in service and quality.

I could agree more Tim. No player is bigger than the Brand.

agreed.  Titleist/FJ sell with their products and reputation.  Nike and the others sell with the "names" of stars.
