Josh, I will get a tee time for early Thursday - I won't be able to make it until the 26th of August, but will get it done. We should be able to finish in plenty of time to get over to the Biltmore and catch the bus.

That leaves space for 2 more.

I too am looking forward to meeting many of y'all and I just got the email that says I'm in! Already booked my flight to arrive Wednesday and hope to play golf that afternoon at Ledgemont CC in Providence (does anyone know the place?) and maybe an early round Thursday before the bus trip. Anyone want to join me?

I would be down to meet up for an early round on Thursday morning.  I'll be driving in from Northern Mass and could wake up dark and early to meet up down there.  Golf is so much easier to wake up for that work!

I am open to meet up with anyone for lunch on Thursday at noon at our hotel or nearby!

i might be able to do that.  I'm going to be heading in to the CT or RI coast Wednesday night after a stop at Callaway Cars in Old Lyme, CT.  Not sure what I will find in the coastal towns, so I haven't decided how early I'll make it into Providence.

I was also hypnotized but, unfortunately, it had the opposite effect on me!

I actually thought your shot was better than mine CG.  Mine was drawing in and spun right.  Your's never left the pin while in the air.

    Then the Blue Moons flowed/dropped.

Hey tdogg, is your Vette a Callaway special? Or are you just going to check out the place.

    Thanks for the opportunity FJ!

Justin, Karnac, The Magnificent, has predicted you will be very ill that Wednesday through Saturday.

don't have a Callaway edition yet, so just want to check out the place.  I would really like to get a Callaway Corvette.  They really hold their value well.   It's a roughly $20k addition, but if you look at resale values, Callaways will usually sell for about $20k more than an equivalent.  but then i think about how for that price, i could buy another vette!

Yes sir!  I'm looking forward to meeting another Cameron Crazy.  That cover will do well in New England.  I might have to break this baby out.

It'll be a game time decision depending on what course we get to play.  Maybe you can meet up a get a round in Thursday with Fred and I?

  •

Josh, you and Todd T have me big time on crazy for Scotty stuff.  I just have a few covers and putters.  I spend too much cash on other things!

Can't wait to see what Todd's gaming!  :-)

I was planning driving straight to Fairhaven from Boston on Thursday (i'll be cutting 1 pm close).

It's a slow process.  My addiction has faded due to my love for other golf paraphernalia.  This event is going to be awesome.  Looking forward to it Justin!

  •

I am arriving at PVD (Providence Airport) Thursday morning, is anyone interested in getting together for lunch around 11:45 before we depart for the 1pm FJ Bus?

Let me know via PM or just reply to this forum...Thanks! Chris

The Providence Place Mall is right across the street from the Biltmore.  They have a Cheesecake Factory and Joe's American Bar & Grill - probably the two better places at the PPM for lunch.  However, I would recommend the Union Station Brewery (which is also across the street from the Biltmore).  This is part of the John Harvard's group and specializes in making their own brews.  Great menu too...

I'm game for the brewery, love trying local brews! Anyone know what hotel were are camping at, Biltmore?

Sounds like there may be a cold beer in our future! Lol. Those are awesome options! Let's plan on meeting in lobby of hotel at 11:45 and going from there! I already have a couple FJA Attendees interested...should be fun to get the ball rolling early!
