My thoughts and prayers...

  •

My thoughts and prayers go out to all the individuals involved and/or affected by the shootings at Fort Hood and the Orlando office building (yesterday and today).

    What's this world coming to?

  •

ya that was relly sad kepping the family members in my thoughts and prayers too

I second that and also offer my condolences to those victims in Orlando. I can't remember any time like the last years with all the incidents of shootings and civil unrest that we have witnessed in the last 20 years. Like Kelly, I wonder what is going on and what my grandchildren will face if it keeps going on like this.

  •

It is really scary what is happening / going on in this world.

Makes me wonder what people are thinking (not thinking) when they decide to do the things they do.

Agreed E. One of my partners insured the Security Contractors for Ft Hood, an outstanding group.

Everyday I always look at as one more blessing. I take a deep breath and take it all in as if for one last time. Remember all we have when we go is our memories. So when you see that ball arching in the air heading for the pin take it all in enjoy it, for there will be one day when it will all be a memory so make sure the memory is a good one. Do not let a day go by where you do not let family or friend know what they mean to you. Work hard play hard and in the words of Alice Roosevelt "if it itches, scratch it".

Prayers to all for strength and to our leaders to make the right decisions on these matters.

    Very classy post.

Never forget that each day is a blessing and gift. Always remember to be respectful of others in your friendships and personal relationships. There is so much each of us takes for granted, and upon reflection, I'm sure we can each be better to those around us.

A wise mentor taught me; ask others in what area you could be better or do better in. Take that input and make a difference by improving yourself in those areas, but also by truly loving what you do each day. That combination of a willingness to be better while enjoying your best, well it's unbeatable.

May comfort, understanding, reason, patience, and peace finds it's way into our world.

Hey guys, I have an opinion on all this but I wanted to see if you heard this. The shooter was Muslim, right? Did you hear that he had been questioned like a week or so before about having contacts with an extreme radical group overseas? They released him because they said he wouldn't do anything radical. Crazy isn't it.
