Best Round You Ever Shot

82 as well, but i'm 60, yeah, by my picture you probably thought i was much older. heck, i was in my 40's for that picture.

My best was a 67 (par 71) which included my first hole in one!!

Great day cause it was Fathers Day as well.

Best is a 73.

My lowest is 65, tournament wise, I believe my lowest was 68 but I don't remember for sure (give or take a stroke).

Actually, it's probably close to the sum of those two numbers.  ;-)

84 for me, but have only been playing a year and 1/2. Picked up the game after Football and hoops were not an option any longer.

At age 23 - (now quite older) -  I started a round with eagle-birdie-birdie-eagle-birdie - finished 11 under 61

At current age of 55 -  on a much harder course (7088 long 135 Slope/74.2 rating) -

34-33 - 67 with bogey-bogey finish -

not bad for an old man

My best round is an even par 71.  I've done it a couple of times.  Never been able to break par on an 18 hole round, but have done it several times on 9 holes.   I think I have to break the mental block of shooting under par.  I usually try to "protect" the score when I'm close and then end up bogeying enough holes at the end of the round to miss it.  Golf is a wonderful game.

Even par 70 a few years back on the Blue Course at Royal Montreal where they played the 2007 Presidents Cup.

Also a 1-under 71 last summer at the age of 45. Was 2-under after 12. Kept trying to make that one more birdie that would put me sub-70. Finally forced it on 18 and finished with a bogey!

My best was last year. Shot a 74 and still can't get over it as I am 68 and getting very close to 69 this year. And that was without my handicap.

Pretty soon you will be shooting your age!  That's a good thing as long as you're still playing.  I could shoot my age when I'm 100, I would be a happy happy man.

On the same note, What is your AVERAGE round?  I don't want handicaps, just what your scores are usually around.  69-74.

Mine was 74 but it was BB...before baby! My goal that year was to break 80. I had never done it and actually ended up doing it three times that season (79-79-74). Makes you hunger for an even par round but I don't see that coming till the kids are off to college.....
