Lifes Emabarrasing moments

We have all suffered one of these. I included and it happened on the course.

On a nice sunny day along  #7 on my previous home course, I badly hooked the ball and it went into the weeds along the pond adjacent to the fairway. Knowing that I had done this on several other occasions, I knew I could find my ball. Stepping into the tall weeds I took about four steps and with my left foot foreward stepped into a muskrat hole under the weeds. Down I went up to my upper thigh and the right foot, in order to gain ballance, went in another spot up to my knee. Do you know what that feels like? I managed to climb out, take off my shoes, socks & pants, wring out my pants, and finish the hole in bare feet. With 2 holes to go we all had a good laugh and when we got back to the clubhouse  after finishing those 2 holes,(me in bare feet), every one in the area heard about it. I have never been able to live that down and was known from then on as skinny dipping for my ball.

A couple of years ago, a buddy and I were playing a late round in November (generally very cold at this time but it was a "nice" day at about 40* so we went out to play) and while riding in the cart, I usually don't hold on or anything since... well, it's a golf cart.  As we were driving a long, my buddy saw a flag out of the hole on one of the greens, instead of just stopping and walking over, he decided to turn 90* at full speed.  Needless to say.... I was tossed out the cart and onto the ground skidding to a stop.  Grass stains on my pants and shirt but I was luckily okay.

Since then, I have never let him forget it and am still trying to get a new pair of pants out of him!

no nothing embarresing, well unless teeing off to 18 while playing 9, well, they run side by side you know. or teeing off on #10 instead of #1 because you forgot the course layout and had to return after calling the clubhouse for instruction as to what they wanted me to do. worst part was i birdied the hole.

Playing in a scramble with a guy who was our "D" player we came to a hole where there was a crowd of people. For some reason he hit last and no one else in the group had hit a very good tee shot. The pressure was on and the guy not only practically whiffed but some how lost his balance. The tee had about a six foot elevation and as he lost his balance he tumbled all the way down the embankment.

This being a Church related tournament and he being one of the "Lay Leaders" we imediatly made the excuse that he had been drinking and had already fallen several times before this.

Attempting to make a small jump across a stream no longer than the length of my driver (so I thought) I jump only to find out that the stream is generally wider than it was and landed and SUNK to just below my knees

After my friends helped me out the laughter continued for almost 3 holes after.
